So ok, we can agree, the mind has two parts…
The conscious mind - everything in my mind/reality that I am aware of at this moment-
and the subconscious mind - everything in my mind/reality that I am NOT aware of at this moment.
You remember the iceberg…
here is another view.
What do an iceberg and the mind have in common?
(Why does she keep showing me pictures of icebergs?)
(I thought she was a doctor hoping to help me feel good ALL the time, not a glaciologist!)
Ok now, look at the photo above. What do you notice?
Part of this iceberg is seen. (above the surface)
Part of it is unseen. (underwater/hidden)
Glaciologists do very complex(for me)math involving ratios and densities and the frozen substances mass to come up with a figure of what lies below the surface…its (+)0.87 (Rhoi/Rhow)unseen. (Feel free to look this up.)
In simpler terms, slightly more than 87% of any iceberg is under the water.
Next time you have something with ice in it, take a second to use one cube and observe how much is sticking out compared to what is beneath the surface. Roughly 10% is above the surface.
WELL SO WHAT?!?!
Ok, ok this is my point-
similar to frozen water,
The conscious mind represents 10% of AWARENESS.
and,
90% of the energy of the mind is subconscious.
OK?
If you were to guess which part of the mind has more power to effect change, what would your guess be?
And for tonight, this is enough. Think about this till next time. Like I said, we are going to go slow and make some sense of all of this.
Thanks for being in this with me and I’m glad we are traveling down this road together!

PS- now don’t get all frustrated if you already get it, someone else may need a little extra time.
Trust me.
