It was a Texas snowstorm. It was bad. We were stuck at home.
It was the storm of the century and we lived outside of town. The drifts were 10 feet high. Even in the city people weren’t going anywhere. And we were way out in the country. Normally this would be just fine with us, we would stay cozy and build an igloo and a band of snowmen. However, it wasn’t going to be that simple today. Luke cut his finger on some metal. Almost cut it off. My goodness, it was terrible.
He came into the house as pale as a ghost, blood dripping from his left hand that he was holding tightly to with his right hand. It was bad. He was scared. I had him quickly open his hand so I could see it and I almost fainted it was so deep and bloody.
Now I was scared too!
Even thinking back on it now makes me squeamish.
So I had him hold a fist even tighter than before, gave him some rescue remedy, and set him on the rebounder for him to do the “gentle bounce for health”. I had learned that this technique could stop bleeding and heal things INSTANTLY. We were putting it to the test for certain.
According to my teacher, Dr. West you had to hold the injury for 15 minutes and bounce on the trampoline for the same amount of time. I made Luke do it. I made him do it for at least 45 minutes. I was too scared to let him get off. There was no way we could get him into the hospital or doctor’s office this had to work.
It had to work.
GUESS WHAT….
It worked!!
I kept him bouncing and kept giving him (and myself) rescue remedy and after an hour or so, we had the guts to actually look at it…to say the least, it was AMAZING! It was almost completely gone. We knew it had been bad, but right at that moment, it seemed almost impossible what we were looking at. The injury had sealed up and stopped bleeding. Almost as if it was three or four days later!! All that was needed was time and we both knew it was all going to be ok.
WOW!
I’m sharing this story because the rebounder I keep bugging you guys about saved us that day! Please make sure you keep yours available and remember to use it in situations you might come up against!
Text me if you have any questions! (1(806)517-5945)
One day we will have a class about this!
I’m so glad we are doing this together and happy to keep going on with you!
Thanks for your time today. I bet it was worth the read. It was great to share it with you!
Love to you-Dr D
PS-Today, Luke is a brilliant massage therapist and his hand has little to no scar to show for the injury (in case you were concerned) : )
I would love to learn more about this!
