Hey everybody-
First off, sorry I missed last week’s post. We had a few family issues of different sorts and I’ve been on the road. I’m home now, so let’s get back to our topic.
Feeling great all the time. (remember?!)
So by now some of you have identified your yes and your no. Right?
Believe it or not, once you have done that, you have the potential to know how to communicate with your subconscious.
Remember the subconscious?
The iceberg.
The lake.
The great unknown that holds all of the information about us and the world around us and that we now have to help ourselves feel great all the time.
HOW?
Have you ever met someone and had a “sense” about them?
I will call this instinct or subconscious awareness(just like the nervous system knows the temperature around us and adjusts our body temperature accordingly, most of the time, without our awareness)
Or, have you ever met someone and just didn’t like something about them? Maybe their clothes or the way they looked or talked. Or, someone had told you ahead of time “this is how that so and so is”…that’s called an opinion.
For feeling great all the time, opinions are useless and actually damage(or limit) your awareness.
For a life that is characterized by feeling great all the time and being free, opinions are completely useless and instincts are where all the value lies.
The iceberg. The lake.
Let’s get to the bottom of this!
Let’s start with an example from my personal life right this minute.
I feel a little lethargic today. Its Saturday and I have a day off and have lots of stuff I could do.
I’m going to find out how to feel great today instead of feeling this feeling of lethargy. (what I want to do is take a nap and have some coffee this is what i think would help me-my opinion)(it has zero value for feeling great)
Here we go…I’m just asking questions of my subconscious. You can ask out loud or in your head.
Am I just tired? No.
Do I need a nap? No.
Is there something I need? Yes.
Is it food? No.
Do I need coffee? (caffeine) No.
Is it exercise? Yes.
Bike ride? Yes.
Anything else? No.
Short one? 40 min? no, and yes.
If I take a 40-minute bike ride will I feel great? Yes.
Simple. Right?
-I’m leaving now to ride my bike and I will let you know how I feel when I’m done!
I’m back!
So, I rode my bike. 40 minutes.
Believe it or not, I feel great!!! (and I didn’t need ANY caffeine)
That’s all there is to it.
So what I think doesn’t matter(opinion), only what is true in the subconscious(instinct).
Play with it. Have fun. Get it wrong. But TRY IT!!!!
And report back to me!
That’s it for tonight. Once you get this, you have GOT IT!
PRACTICE THIS!
You can do it!
I'm so glad we're doing this together and happy to keep going on with you!
Hugs all around-
Connie - Dr. D
